Where can I buy a trolling motor in separated parts?

Is there anyone out there that can help me..I am looking for MinnKota trolling motors in parts.<br />The reason for this that I am planning to build a dpv (diver propulsion vehicle) using a trolling motor.The reason for buying in parts is so I do not need to "chop" a new exemplar to pieces,,and also for the shipping convinience...(smaller package).<br />Preferrably an 24 volt motor,,about 45-60 pound thrust is what I am looking for.Also speed regulating (electronic pwm) is wanted..<br /><br />Thanks for any answers...<br />James<br />jamescaswell@hotmail.com<br /><br />Norway

Thanks for the replies,,yes they are cheap the "plastic scooters" used for snorkeling,.I am afraid that,s not what I am looking for.<br />Mine will be used for deep diving and longer durations than these are capable of.<br /><br />And also it is about designing and building something rigid and powerful by yourself.. : )<br /><br />"I must invent,otherwise I will be enslaved by another man,s system"<br /><br />Best regards<br />james
