Where can I find a Montgomery Ward motor lid

I just bought my first fishing boat. I was very unsure about the motor, so the guy I purchased it from was tinkering around and took the lid off and guess what? I was towing it and when I got home the lid must have flew off. It was dark and I didn't even know it. Does anyone know where I can find a lid for this old thing? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Matt M

Monkey Ward marketed a bunch of motors. Do you have the model number?

Wasn't that a SeaKing motor? Johnson actually, sold under Monkey Wards brand. Check eBay.

Can't help you much without a model number or photo. There are several outboard bone yards online, but again you have to know what you have to get the right cowl/cover.

What HP? I have this one listed below. Has a cover on it but needs work. I can get you a picture if you like.

The motor is a (clinton) Sea King 9HP. Model K900, Serial # 1561244 Type XTV 52309D.
