Where can I find new controls?

I have a 35hp that I just rebuilt and reinstalled. My throttle cable has been on the fringe for a while and when I was reinstalling it, it snapped in two.

So where can I find a replacement cable? And about how much do they run?

Thanks in advance for your help. I need to figure this out soon so I can break in this new motor. :-D

I looked at the type 400 control cables. So I assume I measure mine from end to end and get that side, but how do I know which cable is which? I didn't see anything stating throttle or gear selector...

Cables are the same - you have to switch out the engine ends from your old cables to the new ones.

The cables are measured from the end of the brass to the end of the brass, not to the ends of the wires. Biggest mistake people make is trying to get by with cables that are too short, causing sharp bends while steering. Is that why yours broke?

The one on there had its sleeve ripped off about three inches and the cable was exposed, which then rusted and now snapped.
