Where can I find the OEM manual for my outboard??

I have a 1986 150hp mercury xr2 black max and I have the Seloc manual but I want the service manual as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction?? The serial is 0B122909. Is the manual on this page https://publications.brunswick.com/searchresults.asp?cat=1826 the one that I want to get? I think that I saw somewhere on their site where you could order service manuals that were more model specific?

Sorry can't help with the Merc but I've always had good luck finding them used on ebay for my OMC's

This is the only cheaper one I can find at the moment:

Carholme thanks a ton! I had another question that you may or may not be able to help me with. The engine has been rebuild and my guess is that it's been redone to be like an XR4. There are some parts that are not where they're supposed to be such as the stabilizer assembly, number 6 here: Mercury, Mercruiser, Force, etc. - CHOKE PLATE AND THROTTLE LEVERS - 135/150 H.P (V-6) has anyone had any experience with this here?

Here is a thread, which helps to describe why operators remove the stabilizer. And in your case, if everything is working fine, that is probably what happened while they were re-building the engine.

I just wanted to post on here that if you bought a 'generic' manual instead of the OEM manual that you are missing out. There is a lot more information and way better pictures in the OEM manual and it's worth the extra money.

I recently found a website that offers a good variety of parts. Purchased and received order with no problems. They do have used parts and instant download service manuals.
