Where can I get this?

I have a part from my 1990 Procraft 16' aluminum boat. It is the "thru" connection for my livewell. I broke it in half and its being held together with electrical tape. I went to all the local marine stores, and they don't have it. I can't believe that no one stocks something like this.

Any suggestions on where I could get this part?

Failing all else, you could make one up or do a permanent repair using standard parts found at a plumbing supply.

Hi snapshotmd, Mine was broke too. I went to hardware store and got two 1/2 inch pvc 90's with threads on one end and hose ribs on the other. Then I took a short 1/2 " pvc nipple depending on the thickness of your live well wall. I also used two rubber washers between elbows and out side wall. I then put the nipple in one 90 with teflon tape then rubber washer over nipple. Then put nipple through hole ,put rubber washer on ,then other 90. Turned tight . Looks like factory. Good luck Kent

Hi,

For what it's worth I think the part that goes through the hull is called a bulkhead fitting.

Actually it's called a "thru Hull", go figure I know.

Whats I think I'm missing something here, whats the 90 on the end for, Isn't this part extended outside of the hull while underway?

Perhaos a scupper would be a better option here if your not using a pump to fill the livewell.... They don't extend out nearly as far.

Check right here on I'boats for a replacement
