I know off several dozen members who continue to experience problems getting onto iboats. Would it not be prudent to publicly share any new developements or 'fixes'.

Where did the thread go? I searched 'website/forum issues'. I also attempted to post THIS thread in 'website/forum issues'.

It got moved to Area 51 where the management have the access.

It was me that posted that thread, but I have lost access to it, now that it is shifted.

I was commenting on the fact that I find it impossible to access this web site from inside New Zealand. It appears that New Zealand (and possibly some Australian ?) IP addresses have been blocked.

When I am outside NZ ( like right now I'm in New York) I have no problem accessing the site.

Like most members here, I think iboats is a fantastic resource. I have made many good friends here and even got to meet 2 of them here in the USA.

My request to iboats management is to reconsider blocking NZ (and Australia - if that is still the case). Neither country is any more a haven to hackers than anywhere else. Both countries are strong when it comes to boats and the boating market.

There used to be a good bunch of Aussies and Kiwis that contributed here. I'm not sure what the situation is now.

Dunaruna - how are you connecting these days ? Do you still use your regular internet connection from Melbourne ? Are there Australians having problems connecting ?
