hey guys where would i look for typical boat setup, i am having problem souds like my motor is cavitating when i trim it up to far.

Take a pic of the stern of your boat, eyelevel with it. The guys on here will be able to guide you after that.

will try to get that in the next few days allready past bedtime now and have a tourney tommorow, thought there would be a standard setup. laying a straight edge on bottom of boat it goes just above the water inlets on foot.

when you trim too far it is going to blow out. laying a straight edge on keel of boat the AV plate ( plate above the prop) should be 1 - 1 1/2 inch above the keel. proper trim is considered, getting the boat as fast as it will go, without blowing out.

is this normal? i have had several bass boats and never had this problem, but now i have a pro sport flats boat.

Sure it's normal. It is the result of trying to get the last ounce of speed out of a rig. You have the motor jacked way up for speed and there is a limit.
