Hey folks. So I'm putting my boat back together after a long time of being apart, and I need some help remembering where everything goes. I have a 1989 peterborough with a 5.7 alpha one. I cant seem to find where my trim sender wires connect for my trim gauge. I have my trim limit switch wires all sorted out but the trim sender wires have me stumped.
While I'm asking questions... the rear motor mount bolts have spacers on them. Aluminium slugs about an inch high. Do they go between the y pipe bounts and the bell housing flanges or on top of the bell housing flanges. Like i said its been a long time for an old man with a bad memory. thanks for the help.

You should have a Brown/White and solid Black wire near the rear of the motor. The Blk is ground and the Brn/Wht goes thru the engine 10 pin main connector plug. It makes no difference which wire goes to which wire on the harness.

Here is how the transom goes together

On my '90 harness the wires that the trim sender plug into come out of the same bundle with the oil pressure sender wire at the back of the motor.
