Couldn't find any extrusion while using a barrel. My manual is at a remote post office.......leaving soon. Have to get things squared away.

Starboard, toward the rear of the lower cowling. The hose connects there beneath the fuel pump.

You should be able to feel or see the port on the downward facing part of the lower cowling.

If it isn't peeing, could be a few things. Does it have a thermostat? If so maybe that hasn't opened to allow it to pee. However, If you haven't changed the water impeller in the last year or so, I would absolutely replace that first thing. A little maintenance could save an engine. JMHO

I was going to go with those peeing suggestions but though against it. However, I would say in a large cup, and then over the side with the cup.

At this point, I would be happy to toss this motor in a trash bin. I can't find a replacement part for the 11" x 7/8" motor mount/steering cable holder. I can't even find a supplier that suggests such a thing may exist.

it does not help that my manual is mysteriously taking forever to arrive.

I am over a month overdue with removing a 5500 pound sailboat from the California delta. Add boat rentals, trailer storage, slip fees, stolen anchor, slashed tire, three 3000 mile trips, high winds, getting lost on the Delta, lodging etc. Been sick over a week now. Not a happy camper.

This sound like a continuation to another post with the same problem. :noidea:

If you seriously want to repair this engine, you could have a machine shop make a tilt tube. It really won't be that hard to make. Check into a shop to see. But if you do have a machine shop build one, make it out of stainless steel and forget about ever replacing that ever again. JMHO
