where is the air filter?

Do outboards use air filters? my 79 4 hp johnson has no place for one and my 82 mariner 50 hp doesnt have one either?<br /><br />Suzuki40

zj-jeepster, yes he is starting to get on my nerves. he is trying to be mister nice guy now. I dont like the foul words he is using in his post.
