Where is the pee hole?

on a 115hp o/b 1980 merc sn 5932301?
had it on muffs for 1-2 min, smoke got worse, but no water coming out of the prop or anywhere else?
is the impeller burnt?

Very likely that the impeller is bad. Remove the front cover and the wrap cowl. In between spark plugs 1 and two is a black hose. That goes to the telltale. Pull it off the fitting on the head (plastic elbow, so be gentle), install the flusher, turn on the water and crank her up. If no water from the head after a minute or less, something is wrong in the waterpump.
