Where is the peehole on Sears 1995? Gamefisher 9.9 outboard?

Hi,
Just bought a used 9.9 Gamefisher outboard. Stored for about 6 years. Got it to run and have run it for about 10 seconds at a time so as to not overheat. I see no water from a peehole anywhere using a muff. Model 225 581995, which I think denotes 1995 mfg. Ser. # 0E005518. Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Also, is replacing water pump impeller a tough job?

Might not have a pee hole.
You can install one easily.J

I think that model number is actually a 1992 motor.

You most likely wont find a peehole, but you should see water misting from the exhaust holes. If you do not see any water misting from the exhaust or anywhere else for that matter i would check the impeller. I would also put it in water to test not with muffs on.

hey there tryfish92 i happen to have 1971 ted williams gamefisher 7hp i think i am going to use mine as a boat anchor HAHAHA! no the water pump is suppost to be pretty easy and the people in here are very helpful i am sure you will not have any problem Jm
