Re: Where is the thermostat located?
It's in the block, under the fitting where the coolant-in hose goes inta the engine. Should be held on by two bolts. Buy or make a new gasket, or use "Right Stuff" gasket maker (comes in a black, cheez-Whizz like can)...<br />I only mention Right Stuff by brand, because it's the only one I know that meets OEM spec for a non-paper gasket material..There are many others.
