i have put numerous post with no response, maybe today i will get lucky. i have a 1994 c85tlrs it had water in cylinder, was told to pull head and go from there. i did. cylinders look fine, replaced head gasket, compression test show 90 psi on all 3. fire it up, and bottom cylinder is still getting water. what could it be?

Maybe pull the exhaust cover to check for cracks or bad gasket. Good Luck!

well if all is good in the head and water jakcet. I woud star looking at hte mid-section, where the power head (motor ) bolts on, at he exhaust housing, it could need a gasket. (my be corrosion that can not be repaired,on the block or mid-section.

thanks for your resonse. i will pull cover off next and see what i can find. if it is a bad gasket would it be noticeable by just looking at it or is there anything else i should be looking for? someone else responded and said to check where the powerhead goes into the exhaust housing. my clymers manual doesent show this and if thats the case i'll probably consider a newer engine. i know enough to get me in trouble.
