WHEN I HOOK UP THE MUFFS TO THIS MOTOR THERE IS NO WATER COMING OUT WHERE YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE IT IF YOU WERE IN THE WATER ...THERE IS WATER COMING OUT DOWN AT THE LOWER UNIT AT THE BOTTOM IN A FEW PLACES BUT NOTHING UP TOP .....ALL THE NEWER MOTORS YOU CAN SEE THE WATER PUMPING OUT UP TOP ......IS THIS THE WAY THEY WERE OR AM I CLOGGED UP SOME WHERE ......

You don't have a telltale. There are two 1/2" round exhaust relief ports, on the rear of the motor below the powerhead. Those should spout spray when the motor is warmed up & under load. When cold you may get a bit of mist, or no noticeable water at all. <br /><br />You do, on the other hand, have a 'hot horn' in your control box or dashboard. You should check this to make sure it's working, if you haven't.<br /><br />The outside of the cylinders should be around 105-140 degrees F on that motor, depending on what thermostat you have in it, when warmed up.
