I need to replace fuel lines on a couple 1967 3hp evinrudes and a 9.5 1967-8 johnson. The Johnson has a few different size lines. And need some plug wire and ends for both. Solid copper core 7mm works for both i think but where can i get it? Going to Napa and match up fuel line and get some clamps and ask about bulk plug wire.

Have you tried Iboats? Some auto parts stores will have the copper wire, kind of depends on your area. Also consider parts stores in farming areas (tractors & trucks). And of course outboard and lawn mower shops.

I've been getting my bulk fuel hose at Advance Auto Parts.

my local motor bike shop keeps it $2/foot but my last purchase was solid core strand metallic wire and boot kit (8 wires) by Belden ...

That sounds excessive.----Your location?---I will make sure not to shop in your town !

probably if you need $250 worth of wire.

see my link above at 69 cents a foot .... ask NAPA if they sell by the foot ...
don't worry to much about this ............. 7mm wire core will do
by Ohm's law the high voltage point will be in the air gap on the plug so 18 inches of metallic wire isn't going to mess anything up.

cover them up with corrugated split tubing if you want added protection from surface rubbing

Any solid core will do. Napa does usually, and if they don't have it in bulk, there is a universal solid core kit they can get for antique 6cyls which is cheap and you will have enough wire for a few engines..

Don't use a carbon core wire. It's easy to get and will probably work short term, but probably hard on the coils
