Where to buy upholstery?

Hi,

I've decided it's time to finally refinish my 18' Blue Fin Sea King.

I replaced the floor and bad wood last year and have gone through the engine mechanically so the next reasonable step seems to be getting the interior upholstery replaced.

What kind of material would you recommend using? I'm planning on doing the work myself so something that is easy to work with and can yield good results with amateur work is best!

I'm planning on cutting all new wood for the sides so I think I just need the upholstery material, cushion backing, and some way to attach it and keep it tight.

Thanks for any and all advice!

You need a marine grade vinyl. Stop buy your local fabric store and see what they have.

Jo Ann fabrics, & watch for their 50% off coupons. They sell a lot of different colors in marine grade. I just bought a few weeks ago, 10 yards and it only cost me $75 after the coupon, before coupon was $150.
