Where to find a cover such as this (pic inside)

Stumbled onto this picture and I like the cover. It's different (at least to me).

Searching for boat covers is a headache. Sooo many results.

The ones that cover the most are full of trailers clips and a mix of elastic. It's a pain to pull them on.

The ones that are easiest to use have an elastic cinch at about the rub rail, so a lot is left uncovered.

This one seems to be a little different. Any ideas?

Have a custom one made . . . setup the way you want.

You should know by now that I am broke.

:D

Figured it was worth a shot. I've got a great one from iboats store... but I'd spend again for the one posted if that style was easy to grab somewhere.

But I sense I will be contacting the local canvas shop....

Note: this won't be used in winter months, just when she is sitting under the car port (similar to what is pictured) during boating season.

I agree that the water line covers are the best, keeps the sun from baking your wax right off of it. Might try asking some guys down in florida, I know there more popular down there because the sun. Not sure if there is a manufacturer that makes them without being custom or not.

The covers that have the elastic cinch are the cheap covers that you don't expect to last more than a year or two. Plus elastic cinch is pretty worthless keeping your cover tight enough so that it doesn't collect water pockets.

Here is a cover I made for my brother's 16' Formula. The side skirts snapped into the main cover so you had the option of having it on or off. Fabric is Sunbrella and all the edges of the skirt had binding.

he wanted his trailer covered from the sun so it wouldn't fade as well as protect the tires.

Although you can't see it, there are tie downs from the main cover so you tie it down tight first and then snap on the large skirt. The skirt is in two pieces and it snaps to each other near the bow. The skirt goes over the coupler so it is covered as well.

This is the one I made for my boat. I made it long enough on the sides to cover the blue gelcoat section.

69cuda... just curious, what's with the multiple jacks on the trailer?

My cover just goes below the rub rail... never thought about one that covers the trailer. Mine is red so the sun takes a toll on the trailer.

Bruceb58, does that cover go over the drive as well? That would be awesome to have 100% coverage.

My cover is made from a material called top-gun, it's more water resistant than other boat cover materials. Extremely durable for traveling long distances, and outdoor storage. (my cover maker warranties everything for 10 years) Top-gun doesn't breathe as well as other brands, but I had vents installed, and never had issues with mold or moisture. It has a rope around the sewed around the entire boats circumference, with a heavy duty ratchet under the swim platform. The ratchet is covered by material with a Velcro flap to keep water out. He also installed tie-down tabs every 3' so bungees can be used around the trailer frame if needed. I also have a very nice Sunbrella cockpit/bow cover I use for short term storage. If I lived near bruce58 I'd hire him to make my covers!

Whatever the case it's protection that I can't skimp on.... Wish I had a garage that would fit the boat, but not at this point of the game...

90Stingray, the extra jack helps me raise my boat bow high, due to the grade/slope of my property.
