Greetings,

I have been searching the Internet for Mercruiser part webistes (iBoats, Mercruiserparts, MarineEngine, PerfProTech, etc.) and my newer (2016 ish) Mercruiser Engine is not listed.

I have the Mercruiser Service Manual for the engines, but they don't list part numbers.

It seems like the parts websites have not caught up to the newer models? Or is there other places I should look? Even on the Mercury website . . . no mention of part lists or diagrams.

I am doing pre-season prep . . . So, oil filters ( which I got off of the existing ones) (35-858004Q) Pricey !!! Also looking to get the impellers for the sea water pumps, but the pumps are different than the old-school Bravo pumps . . . not sure if the impeller is the same or different. (the manual mentions something about 'heavy duty' or 'extended life' impeller).

I believe the outdrives are the same as 2004 & up, but who knows. I have not searched for those parts yet.

TIA for any part listing / diagram resources.

The best/closest listing I have found is for the '377 MAG' engine, but it may be hit-or-miss, since the engine serial number does not come up on any of the searches.

Hi Ted,..... I donno 'bout yer motors, but pretty much forever, Merc has used the standard Chevy oil filters, both for the block mounted, 'n the remote mounted oil filters,.....

I ain't got the number off the top of my head, but Napa has 'em, in short, mid-length, 'n tall filters,.....
'n Napa filters are rebadged Wix, which are some of the best available,....

I think I found something . . . it happened to be on a French website, but it is the USA parts diagram & listing.

FWIW - the oil filter is spec'd in the parts list as a 35-866340K01, which is about $10. The ones on the engine are 35-858004Q, which are the 'High Efficiency' oil filters at $20 each
 🤪

I downloaded the document, so at least I have something to reference. There are a few part differences from the 377 MAG engines.

Run your 3 serial numbers here, https://public-mercurymarine.sysonl...est&NA_KEY=NA_KEY_VALUE&langIF=eng&langDB=eng

2A458509 ='s Service Literature for MERCRUISER SEA 6.2L 350 B EC DTS 4R 6.2L BR DTS MPI...The Engine Model Number is 4A620042A
Thank You (y)
:D

I downloaded a bunch of the parts lists for things I will probably need to service. It is interesting that many of the engine supply retailers have not listed the engine S/N and parts list on their websites (yet) . . . the engines have been in production for about 6 years now.

Yes, which means I am probably trapped into buying Mercury parts rather than aftermarket for a lot of stuff, but I will see how that goes.

Everything is digital on these engines (it seems) and more pricey.

Ayuh,..... I'd still try to cross those numbers over to Napa/ Wix numbers,.....

Even the ole 470s ran the usual '60s to '00s Chevy oil filters,....

Yes, it crosses to a NAPA 7099 and a Wix 57099, and a whole bunch of others. Of course I already ordered the pricey high efficiency filters, but will see about next year.

Yes, but if I ever get into that situation, maybe it is worth a conversion to outboards :ROFLMAO:
It's never worth considering....

(If you think Merc has a tight grip on your 'wallet' now, go to outboards and see how much you bleed)

Chris....
