where to find penzoil 100% synthetic outbaord oil?

Does anyone know of a large chain store that carries this oil? I can find the premium plus everywhere, but not the synthetic. I have looked at Autozone, Kmart, Walmart, Menards. Can someone please help me out so i can stop the endless driving around and looking? thanks,<br /><br />Steve

The Menards in Iowa carry 100% synthetic. Ask them if they can start stocking it. They should be happy to if they have buyers.

yeah, i used to get it at the menards here, but now they don't have it anymore. I'll ask them if they can get it, might as well try it.<br /><br />Lubedude, I am hoping to find it locally. I don't really want to have to pay to ship that much oil. I can't imagine that would be cheap. thanks for the replies though.<br /><br />Steve

I'm not sure if they have them in your area but in Texas most Academy Outdoors stores carry it.

Walmart did carry it until last year. Through some pressure Walmart says they will again stock it. This may not be all stores, so ask the manager to get it, it should be available to the stores through their distribution.<br />Backfire

Thanks for all the replies, I checked with the manager at Menards and it still is available, just special order at my menards. I guess some of the smaller stores went to that, the bigger stores are still stocking it. Thanks again,<br />Steve

need to jump on real quick....<br /><br />i filled my 3 gal tank w/ the blend, but want to switch to the 100%. can i just start topping off, or do i have to run all the blend out first? does it matter if they mix a bit?

Doesn't matter if they mix, but you won't get the effect of 100% synthetic until the dilution of the 2 is all used up which may take a while. I'd run it down a bit and then empty it out before putting in the full synth.

wrestler: As of yesterday two different WalMarts<br />1-super/1-reg. in my area was carrying the Pennzoil Syn. at just under $20 a gal.<br /><br />
