where to mount a kicker

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could take a look at my boat and give me your recommendations of where I should mount a kicker. I'm looking at a 9.9 or 3.5 hp, both long shafts. Want it more for an emergency backup than trolling. Thanks

The 3.5 would be a waste of time. The 9.9 should do well. If you would like to be able to use an EZ-steer type of set up you will want to mount the kicker on the port side. Yeah I know your swim ladder is there. I had the same issue and tried to make it work on the starboard side and it was a real pain.

there is a mount that will attach where you ladder is, and move ladder to the otherside. fill holes with 3M 5200.
