I have a 2004 Nitro Fish/Ski. I am mounting a transducer for my sonar and am trying to think ahead to where I will install my SmartTabs down the road. I plan on getting the tabs and installing them in the near future, and don't want my transducer to have to be relocated. So, SmartTab Gurus... look at the attached pictures and give me your advice..

Thanks,
Paul

I would guess about 3 to 4 inches in from the outside corners of the transom. The only issues i see with that is the trailer. Its hard to tell in the pics how high off the outside rails of the trailer the boat is sitting..
NautiJohn should be by Monday and take a look at your pics..He is the expert..

That is what I am thinking, but there is a potential issue. The trailer will not cause a problem as there is plenty of room. The issue is: that smooth portion just in from the outside edge is slanted inwards towards the bottom at about a 20 degree angle, and the transom above it sticks out about 1-2 inches more sternwards. I don't know if that will affect the mounting of the shocks.
