Where to purchase a mercruiser 3.0L engine

Where can I purchase a good rebuilt or used 3.0L motor for a 2002 Bayliner Capri? I want to purchase from a good source and thought this forum would be a good source. How much should I expect to spend?<br />Thanks

Not more than a G-Note....Google like Ron says or look locally & save shipping costs.....I would think that you should be able to get a long block for 1K.....jk

I know where a complete boat is for sale with a 13 month old volvo 3.o and a cobra outdrive. the boat is about a 94 caravelle and is in good shape. the upper case drive yoke seal leaked the oil out and destroyed the upper. the man is going to unload it as is. the motor has about 25 hours on it. dont know what he will ask for it though.

The engne will fit if you exchange some of hang on parts from your old one.
