I had both my ESA and interrupter switch replaced last season on my OMC Cobra. This season my mechanic is saying that the reverse portion of my switch is not working correctly. I called my local Volvo Penta dealer and was flat out told that it is not a part that can be ordered any longer through Volvo. He said I might be able to purchase a switch that would possibly work by calling some sort of electrical supply house. The Volvo dealership also said I might be able to adapt a Mercruiser interrupter to work, but they had not experimented with doing this. I'm really starting to worry about all of this. Any advise is appreciated.
