Check your ground and power connections and wires. Make sure they are good and clean. I just bought a 97 harley that would sometimes start. It turned out that the positve wire from the battery to the starter was broke from corrosion. It was shrink wrapped and looked clean on the outside, but it was completely corroded through. If all 3 aren't firing and the wires and connections are good, I would think its a power pack or coil problem. I'm new to boat motors so don't depend soley on my info.

thanks for the advice but its cranking so its getting power but not spark from the coils...also i looked around at other threads and tryied to reground the coils and packs and that didnt work either...would the stator keep them from sparking or hell i dont know

I don't think the stator has anything to do with spark. I thought it was strictly for the charging system. Check your service manual and look at the wiring diagram. There might be some kind of pulse generator or and electrical component that is bad before you get to the power packs or coils.
