After becoming bored with the never ending wiring issues and other problems with my new boat, I needed a break... so I thought I'd check into my jammed in forward gear issue. After endless posts reading and trying to decipher the Clymer manual I finally took a Franks advice and dug into it with some sense that I finally had a grasp of what to do! The linkage partway down the leg under the covers was cranked all the way down and then some! Who did that and why is beyond me....bu I have my suspicions. Got that adjusted properly, and with a little linkage adust for the neutral switch....everything is now kosher! Thanks Frank!....and all the guys who unknowingly helped me in previous posts. I think I finally have a pretty good handle on this engine now. It's really pretty simple once you learn the systems! It was all Greek a week ago! You guys may make a boater out of me yet! Can't fish ALL the time.....right?
