Whers the water going?

I'm doing some long needed maintenance on my 1980 J70ELCSA. Just removed the lower unit. I have seen water coming out several locations on the outboard while I am flushing it. First in the front of the exhaust housing near where exhaust housing bolts to the lower unit. 2nd, a hole in the lower unit on the starboard side below the cavatation plate. And 3rd, around both port and starboard lower mounts.
Are these locations normal?
I'll be replacing the water pump housing due to a broken bolt hole, the impeller, and any other seals and gaskets to put it back together, also the thermostat and pressure relief valves.
I can not see that the lower mounts are a location where the cooling water is to discharge on the water flow diagram.

water is discharged out the exhaust, most out the prop, some out the exhaust relief ports on the back leg of motor, also a you should have a strong pee stream out the tale tell.

I see a response from Joe Reeves to Becknutts Thread "1971 Hydro Electric Shift - holes in lower unit?", that the water in my first and second discription
are drain holes, but the water coming out around the lower mounts are also drain ports?
