I have narrowed my choices down to a two bayliners. 1990 18 foot with 150 force kept outside and interior is about a C+ and exterior is a C- it is for sale by a boat dealer $2990 but with the crude along the motor it was kept on the lake.
THe second is a 1994 16 foot with a 100 mercury sold by an individual. Floor replaced 3 years ago kept in doors and interior is B+ and exterior is a B+ as well for $2900 as well.

The size of the boat is the only thing making lean towards the 18footer. Looks like yo0u can fit 6-7 people in it with the smaller looks like 4-5.
What do you think?

You probably don't want a Force. Haven't been made in years and parts and service availability are slipping. Check VERY carefully for rot in any older fiberglass boat you consider. You want a solid deck and transom. ANY soft spots are usually indicative of more serious rot below in the stringers.

The 18-footer is way overpriced, and the 16-footer is probably overpowered. Keep looking, IMO.
