I have a '72 Evinrude 25hp model 25202R. I need to clean the carburetor and figured I'd use a rebuild kit while I've got the thing in pieces. There are two to choose from here and it looks like they have different parts. Which one should I get, the Sierra or the Mallory Sierra?

Either one should do you fine. Just get one with the float. You may not need it but you will have a spare if you dont. Also it never hurts to replace it since your already there.

I had gotten alot of help on this subject, you could do a search and find it...
I would go with OMC kit... didn't see your motor for 1972, but go here:

The sierra gaskets are too thin for the plastic body carbs, the mallory are good. OMC kit comes with a float, dont need to replace it unless its full of fuel...
