Engine/Drive: 1999 Mercruiser 5.7L - Alpha One Gen. II - 2 Barrel Carb.
Engine Serial No.: 0L364401
Drive Serial No.: 0L422470

I have looked through some parts catalogs and have found a few that look like they would work for my carb. Does anybody know the correct carb kit for this model?

Thanks.

Check out mercruisers website, plug in your S/N and you will get every part number you'll ever need.

Re: Which Carb Kit??

Too bad their MercuryPartsExpress website is only good for serial numbers that are on or after the year 2000!!!

That website used to be excellent before they made the changes, I could get parts list and drawings for my 1974 888.

I found some stamped numbers on the carb last night after I scraped off some paint:

861245
8703

They were stamped on the side of the carb just like you see them.

I'll keep looking, thanks!

Well that sucks!

Guess we will have to go to a 3rd party for information

#28 (pn 3310-810929003) is the gasket set for your carb. Other parts are listed individually with P/N's you can use to cross-referrence.

Re: Which Carb Kit??

If you call sierra marine parts directly, they can tell you the part number for their kit. Just give them the serial number of your engine, and they will tell you the right part. Then, you can order it from iboats, I did it and had the kit in three days. Good deal too! The iboats rep on the phone gave me sierra's number.

Re: Which Carb Kit??

Thanks for your help. The first number that I had on my carb was actually the part number (missing the first few numbers 3310 or something) and the second was the date code. I called Basic Power Industries and they had a kit for me.
