I am thinking about casting some aluminum parts. (non-boat related) Was just thinking--- I have several 54-55 year Johnson / evenrude 24 hp motors.
Some parts seem to be harder to get than others. (like the starter motor brackets)
Is there a part or several parts that everybody needs that somebody should make but no one does ??????? What might I cast that would have enough
volume of demand to do some ? (of coarse the simpler parts will be easier---- wouldn't attempt a block !
(not that it couldn't be done- )
(there are the scarce front plates for the Javelin--- but I think they are chromed brass--- maybe I will try those later on if I can do aluminum well)
