Which Chris Craft boat is pictured?

My father built a Chris Craft kit about 1955? Could the photo be a 1955 Chris Craft Whirlwind? Any thoughts appreciated. I have no paperwork on what he purchased.

I don't see any mention of a Whirlwind in my big book of Chris Craft; but that does look like the 14' Caribbean.Cool boat!

Cool Stevens520! Thank you for looking this up for me. That's definitely it. So if it's a Chris-Craft Caribbean sold in the late 1980's outside Reading, PA pictured in it's colors at that time (kind of Aquamarine green kind of over Red) -- how hard might that boat be to locate it? Suggestions?

That may be a hard one to find; with guys looking for certain boats and many willing to drive half way across the country to buy them, it could be anywhere. You could try searching on the many Chris Craft resto sites and may have some luck.I've been looking for my Dad's old XK22 for years with no luck yet.
