The intended use is as an adhesive to glue oak joints together. Must be strong, last forever, and be suitable for water emersion.

i like
clark craft.com ..they sell thick & thin.. thin is a 1 to 1 mix.. so is the thick..

thin is for laminate an encapsulation but as with any brand thin,, add fillers to make thick.. which they sell also..

or buy the thick..

but NEVER NEVER NEVER use un-thicken thin as a bonding glue..never...

I get my epoxy (resin and hardner) from Raka and I use West Systems's High Density Filler (their number on its 404 if I remember correctly).

Thom

For bonding I use West Systems epoxy with colloidal silica or with mirofibres.

Has any one used "West Systems Eproxy 105" before?
Should I use the "West Systems" hardener or any other brand would be ok?

Re: Which epoxy do you use?

Sure, West Systems is just about everyone's fallback position if for some reason they need some epoxy real quick and can't wait to order some. You can get the West Systems stuff anywhere. Its a very good product, its just expensive. With any of the epoxys consider it a system one resin and the same company's hardners, if you change resin then change to the same systems hardners. Don't mix them up. For one thing the ratios may be different as well and that is something you have to get right with Epoxy. Never guess on ratios, use graduated cups to mix in.
