I have to fix everything from minor surface scratches to gouged gelcoat down to the laminate in places on my hull. There are no structural repairs other than four 1/4" screw holes that need to be filled on the transom.
Should I use poly fiberglass resin (cheaper)......or,
Pre-mixed epoxy filler (interfill or watertite) expensive!.....or,
Epoxy resin mixed with cabasil (mixed by me).........or
formula 27 poly marine filler (marine Bondo)...or,
your own suggestion here.
Which should I use? I have some very light scratches to fill so I need a fine filler that will feather-edge. I also have small sections gouged to laminate so I need build-ability with a good bond. All of this is above true water line.
help?
