Which ignition system do I have?

I have a 1999 Mercruiser (S/N 0L060433) with a 5.7L engine and I'd like to know how to determine which ignition system I have. My Mercruiser Service Manual has quite a bit of information about a Thunderbolt Ignition System. Does that sound right given my year and s/n?

Thanks,

That number is coming up as a 1998, 5.0L Bravo, not a 5.7L!

I get the same thing as Chris, and yes it has the Thunderbolt V ignition system, and you should be using Merc manual #24. Is that the one you have?

Where did you find that info? The site I used said "5.0/5.7 Alpha and Bravo Gen+ " when I entered my serial number.

You must have been on a parts lookup program. "5.0/5.7 Alpha and Bravo Gen+ " is the engines covered in that catalog, it doesn't tell you exactly what engine you have.
