I just recently changed my trim pump on my AQ290 outdrive and feel I might have mixed up the pump hoses. The pump is slow as molasses lifting and really fast lowering. In the AQ290 service manual the diagram I saw on the old style pump 852928 does not show the transom shield diagram well enough and I don't want to screw something up. One hose appears slightly thicker than the other and has writing on it. Would the thicker hose be high pressure? Also on the pump itself there is a left port and a right port (Viewed looking at the pump mounted) which is High and Low? Thanks!
