Which manifolds??

I have 2 cracked manifolds on my mercruiser 4.3. I was going to try and repair them but after reading the advice on here have decided to but new. I cant afford to buy genuine merc ones so which manufacturer of aftermarket manifolds would you recommend cos I have heard that the Chinese made ones are poor quality.

I got some 2 years ago from a guy on ebay who sells alot of new marine parts. The brand is GLM, which I'm sure is made in China. Had an issue with the mating surfaces on the first set, but the guy replaced them without a hassle and the replacement set was perfect, installed easily and have had absolutely no problems with them, they are working great! Had them off end of last season, and they still look great, though it helps that I always flush with Salt Terminator after each use. Got 2 new manifolds, 2 new risers complete with all gaskets and fittings, and got a new water circulating pump all for a little over $500. Before that, I got a price for just 2 oem risers and that was almost $400! Can't imagine what the whole set of oem would hurt me?!

I remachined 'em Flat,+ So Far, So Good...

I have installed about 6 sets of these and had no problems at all.
Nice kits,all new bolts,gaskets,ect..

And while you're at it, you should probably change the risers too!

I have the GLM they offer a good warranty I have them for 3 years already I use my boat only in the ocean and of course I flushed every time I take it out and they still like new.

With 2 cracked manifolds, I`d check the block for cracks first before spending money

OK, so Ive bought new sets of exhaust manifolds and risers. Can anyone tell me what torque valuse I need to tighten all the bolts down to. I have checked in the manual which I have downloaded from this site but it doesnt list the manifold and riser bolts values!!

Ayuh,... Refer to the torque tables in the front of the books,...
35ft.lbs. for 3/8ths" bolts,...
45ft.lbs. for 7/16ths" bolts,...
Etc...
