I asked this before with another question but never got a definate.

I need to download a manual now, I'm ready to hit the bellows.
Don't know if I need Manual # 4, 5, or 6.

Ayuh,... I believe a 1978 would be manual #3,+/or #4,.... Pre-Alpha...

Alpha 1 came out in 83 or 84 I believe...

agree, 3 for the engine, 4 for the drive. confirm by s/n...

That SN is for a 1-drive, (Not Alpha I ) and is definitly covered by manual #4.
