Hey Folks-
I was just given a 17-18' Thunderbird (Cathedral Hull) with a "84 trailer and a 135 Evinrude motor. I cannot find a website that will give me the "spec" sheet on this model. I know it's about 17-18', 1969 tri-hull, fiberglass, and the front looks like a bowrider, but has a flat deck surface like you'd use for fishing. I'm looking for weight, model, year, etc... so I can attempt to restore this thing. Any ideas?
Thanks

I grew up on one of these and my family has a small collection of Thunderbird cathedral hulls. I've got a couple of brochures with all of their models from the late 60's early 70's so I can probably tell you what it is. If it is about 17 1/2' long with a closed bow (deck) then it is a Sioux. I have the same boat in I/O configuration and my father has the outboard version. The brochure lists the weight as 1080 without engine, 125 max. HP. These were offered in white, gold, or green during that year. Hope this helps. These are great old boats!

Here are a couple of pics of my '67 Sioux I/O. I don't have any good pictures of my fathers O/B version, but will get some for you. If I use the other method of attaching pics can I send larger pictures?
