I looking to buy a 05 boat. it has a volvo penta motor (small block chev) the motor has a label on the engine cover say 5.0 gxi but its has a carborator not injected. I thought the i in gx means injected? on nada booking value i see two catigories for 5.0 and different HP im confused are there two 5.0 with 2 different hp in 2005. also the seller says it has under 100 hour but when he trys to start it the starter clicks 4-5 time then cranks fast and fires up. this tells me that it has a bad starter selonied which shouldnt be with only 100hr.
