hi, I'm looking to buy a new o/b for my 15 foot 'Drascombe Dabber' sailboat, aprox 650lbs inc gear, and motor.<br />maybe Tohatsu 2.5, will this be enough and is no nuetral a problem, or should I go for a 3.5? regards, Al.
I had a 1½ HP motor on an inflatable. Once, when it wouldn't start easily, I opened the throttle too much and the boat quickly moved to the end of its painter. <br />If the difference in weight is acceptable, go for the 3.5. You may need the horsepower in an emergency.
