Hey chad. I moved this over to the Electronics section to get a more focused response. Seems to me like you are comparing two different types of products. If all you want is a fishfinder and you have no desire for GPS then the Fishmark seems like the best match for you. Bigger screen, more of a specialty type fishfinder etc. However, GPS is a big addition and can be used for a variety of things, so again seems like an apples to oranges comparison to me. No "better", just different . . . ;)

Ok thanks. That is what I was wanting to know. If the fish finder part was any better on one unit vs the other. I don't really need GPS as I have maps of the lakes I go to and I know them some what any way. Thank you

I think you indicated in your other thread that you fish some rather big lakes. Re-finding a piece of structure using dead reconing and maps is near impossible on big water. I would highly recommend having a gps, even if seperate units. If comparing just FF than the 640c wins hands down. And even if you wanted gps, I think you would quickly outgrow that particular Lowrance model. As I indicated in the other thread, a Fishelite 640c would be a good option.
