I am now running a 1984 200hp Yamaha and I run it a lot. It came to me with a used rig purchased in 1993 and the previous owner had it rebuilt once. Although it is still performing great, I feel I'm on borrowed time. When I repower, which brand outboard would be the "Preferred" one? I have no experience with the modern versions of this machine but I'm aware of major improvements over the "Old" motors. I will need another 200 or 225hp. Thanks for any insight.
