Which outboard would you keep

I just bought a boat with a 1990 Force 150, was told the motor needed a lot of work. Turns out it didn't need that much work to run. I already have a 1979 Mercury 150 that runs great, I picked it up from someone who didn't want to go that fast in his bass boat. So my question is for the long term which motor would you keep. I would think the Force because of the year, but I have heard much better things about Mercury.<br />Thanks<br />C

If you are considering selling one...dont. It is not worth the small amount of money you would get. I would keep a back-up and never have to worry about 'down time'.

Keep the merc or both. The force has not yet begun to torture you.
