I have a Mercruiser 470 serial # 5656498. boat is 1980 mc-1 sterndrive with the eyehole on the top of the drive.. My trim pump is the old PRESTOLITE pump. I have reverse lockout with the clear tube and a black and grey hose.
I need to replace the lines. Does anyone have a part number for all 3? I have looked on many sites, but there are so many different ones. The lengths and bends are different. I would prefer a bit extra length as this is my first time doing this job.

I have not taken mine apart yet as I would like to use the lines to pull the new lines through. I have no clue how my bends look to match them up. Also, I don't know the lengths. So I am worried about getting the wrong ones. Nothing seems to say MC-1 like I was told mine is. Some say TR-TRS or R-MR. Alpha one, etc. I don't know which category I should choose. Thanks for any help guys!

Ok, had a look at the online drawings and yes, quite confusing. But I have a copy of an older Merc parts catalog, and on that it spells out which hoses are for the inline engines (like your 470) and the V8 engines (unlike your 470 :D)...

Here is a screen grab of my listing. You're looking for parts #1, #3, #4. You'll also need (a couple of) #2 as the old one is not re-useable.

AMAZING! Thanks so much. The ones I almost bought was from the same diagram yet different item numbers from evidently a different year or maybe the v8. So glad you found this!

I just pulled the pump off and changed the o-rings. Leaving the drive full up to see if it leaks down through the night. I might get lucky, but the outside of those hoses are brittle...
