Which Prop Is best...

I currently have what i believe is the original prop on my boat... A pic of it is attached, it measures 4 inches to center I am not sure of its pitch. I am using it on a 5hp nissan motor strapped to a 9 foot inflatable. I am wondering, is this prop ideal for speed with about 150-280 lbs in the boat?

also... When there is less weight in the boat (goin out alone) for some odd reason, when I reach a plane, it will sometimes randomly rev extremely high, and seem to disengage from forward, once this happens I have to lower the throttle all the way and restart to a plane. I am ridding at too high of throttle for the prop?

Also, my prop when i removed it today was not on tight, could this be my problems?

thanks for any help in advance!

Most likely the the reving is the prop ventilating (losing bite).I think some infateables are prone to venting. Most likely a new prop would resist venting
better also you could try trimming in a notch(prop closer to the boat).
I can't speak specifically to your prop but I would think the nut should be at least snug.

Ya, the bolt for the prop is probably one of the main issues, I am going to snug that up in a little bit. I think you are correct with prop ventillating on the inflatables, probably due to the light load, I say this because usually if I have two people in the boat it rarely happens.
