I have a 1985 bayliner 1810 Center Console with a 1992 Evinrude 90HP. The engine currenly has a 14 X 17 prop on it. When I purchased the boat the seller gave be a 13 3/4 X 15 prop. Currently the boat tops out at 30mph with 2 people. I'd like to get a little more speed if possible.

Re: Which prop is better?

We have no idea which prop is better on your boat. You gave us no data to work with. The proper prop is one that allows the engine to run at or very near the upper end of the manufacturers recommended wide open throttle rpm band with an average load. The means "what you actually observe on the tach".

Silvertip is correct. With that said, I would expect you're other prop not to do what you want it to.
