You folks with Yamahas and prop questions really need to get familiar with Yamaha's web site. They have a section called PERFORMANCE BULLETINS. Visit it. You can select your engine, select your boat, then view test reports on that combination. Guess what! They show the prop that was used for the test and in every example, they select the right prop to put the engine at or very near the top of the recommended RPM band. If they have not tested your exact boat, pick one that is closest to what you have. It doesn't get any bettery than that. The site also lists fuel consumption, speed, rpm, noise (in some cases).
