But, is it the right one?.

Might want to post your model number. Force made a bunch of different 125 motors that year. If it is an L drive you want 18-3553. All others is the 18-3559. When you replace it if the kit dont come with it you will need a mercury number 27-828319 gasket for the thermostat cover.
