Which to buy? 96 OMC 225 or 94 Yamaha 250?

I am having trouble deciding on which engine to buy. Both are in good shape and both are for good prices.
1) 94 Yamaha 250
2) 96 Evinrude 225 Ocean Runner

Which engine should I get and why?

evinrude have a 93 200 and swear by it what you need to ask yourself is who made the first outboard its like ford trucks you cant go wrong

yamaha is ok for the first 10 years u dont see a whole lot of old yamahas still running. there are bad apples every where though

are they both 2 strokes? if so the Rude hands down.
